When asked, "What's your sign?" most people might say Cancer, Virgo or another one of the 12 zodiac signs of Western astrology. If that question is asked at a sign company —like Custom Graphics— the answer would be very different!
We used our signage expertise to compare each of the traditional signs to the signs we're more familiar with. Keep reading to see which sign you are the most similar to based on your zodiac sign!
ARIES March 21 - April 19

Awnings and Cancers share many qualities including their protective instincts. Awnings are mounted above the entrance of a building and can be a variety of lengths and shapes. An awning provides an area of security for customers as they're entering or exiting a business. Most commercial awnings are built with a strong metal frame that will withstand harsh weather conditions. Awnings can be covered with many different materials. Some are stretched with textured fabric that gives a "soft" approachable look and others are stretched with a dependable, backlit heavy-duty fabric that can be lit from the inside!
LEO July 23 - August 22
Confident, Dominant, Dramatic, Brave
Pylon signs are the tallest, most dominant type of sign. They can range in height from 10 to 100 feet tall! These signs are intended to be seen from great distances. Up close, these signs seem a bit dramatic due to their size, but the size is necessary to be viewed at a distance. We send our bravest installers when repairing or applying graphics to these signs as it is quite the feat to reach some of them. (Especially in windy North Dakota) To invest in a sign of great scale, we recommend that you are confident in your business as they can be a sizeable investment.

A staple of any brick and mortar business is having vinyl door hours. Although it's not the most exciting form of signage, modest white lettering on a front door is a reliable way to communicate with customers and foot traffic. Common information shared on a front door are hours of operation, contact information, and business name. Sociable, Balanced, Collaborator, Indecisive

Neon Signs and Sagittarius are often found in lively places like bars, boutiques and restaurants. Neon Signs are electric signs that are made with tubes of light.
